Iran traveling theater truck starts summer tour

Iran traveling theater truck has embarked on summer tour, staging theater plays for children in different provinces of the country.

Public affairs office of a department attached to Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults recently said that in the program, two theater plays are performed in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Isfahan and Qazvin provinces.

The plays entitled ‘Reynard the Fox’ and ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ were brought to the truck stage Sunday and continue to be perfomed in the provinces for three weeks until July 17, the office also said.

‘Reynard the Fox’ follows a comic theme while ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ is an adaptation to a classic English story of the same name. The latter is helmed by Iranian stage director Ahmad Teymori.
